As students, we always have this desire to impact our world through a particular career choice. But as we grow older, we discover that we have a passion for some other areas of discipline but that discipline doesn’t have the popular acceptance as the others. More so, we have this concern from our parents about choosing a career that can “put food on our table”. How do we overcome these hurdles in the pursuit of knowledge? Abigail Adukwu shares her little experience with us. She is currently a student at Bankys Private School in Abuja, Nigeria. She is in Senior High 2. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
